4. Are there any restrictions on what name change my existing Company name to
You chosen name still needs to comply with Companies House standards for Acceptable Company Names. The main considerations should be:
- There is no ‘same as’ or ‘too alike’ another Company name
- There is no trademark registered against your new company name
- Also, if it is a name that you need permission to use, you will still need to follow the standard procedures to get permission to use your new Company name.
