What Is Changing?
From 1 February 2026, Companies House will apply a new increased incorporation fee to all companies that are officially incorporated on or after this date.

The applicable fee is determined by the date the company is incorporated, not the date the application is submitted.
This means:
- Applications submitted before 1 February 2026
- But approved and incorporated on or after 1 February 2026
will still be subject to the increased fee
Additional £50 Fee for Companies Incorporated After 1 February 2026
Any company that is formed on or after 1 February 2026 will automatically incur an additional £50 Companies House fee, regardless of when the application was originally submitted.
This additional cost is a statutory charge imposed by Companies House and is not optional or discretionary.
